so, i've been typing non-stop since i woke up. a lot of it is complete gibberish and almost all of it needs correcting in some way. is this a good way to write? i'm barely thinking. it's almost like automatic writing.

should i keep tapping away until i hit something in me that is important?

or should i think hard and lay down a route and then improvise around the plan?

do you practise 'automatic writing'? do you get good results?

there's worse ways to write

inducing hypergraphia [either via chemical means or by forcing it] is an old time-tested method

its called free association and you do gleam something out of it when you read through it again. i don't really think it will help with your writing, maybe with your typing speed
