People might think you're .. up to something, Tao

>> No.3343823

Celebrity doesn't mean what it once did. It's the future, and we're all getting our 15 minutes of Warholish fame. In a land where "reality TV" contestants are celebrities, it's sort of gauche to want to be or to be a celebrity at all.

Sage because this thread is useless.

It has the potential to become a proper Tao Lin thread. What's your favourite work by him? Which of his styles do you prefer the most? What do you think Taipei will be like?

>> No.3344332

Tao, I made your salad. It was awesome.

Also, how's the teaching life?

I don't get it

I've read Shoplifting, and I'm half way through Richard Yates.
The dynamic in Richard Yates is more interesting in my opinion.
Haley is a really shit person. The thing that sucks me into these books is that my life was like them. I read them and cringe at how I was back then. Therapeutic in a way.
Is E more of the same?
I'm not really into poetry, but do I think I'd enjoy CBT?

Eeee is more absurd than Richard Yates and has a different style. I think if you like Yates then you would like Eee

ha ha! it's a reddit thing! High five!

Hush. Can you hear that, Tao? Listen carefully. Somewhere in the distance is the faint sound of a bed calling for you. Why don't you go to it.

>> No.3346505

>>3346500
Why doesn't he go to the sound or the bed?
You could learn a thing or two from Tao.

It's the bed doing the calling.
