Write about your excitement.

Do something about Snow Elves fighting against Lucifus. That seems like something no-body has ever done before.

>> No.3306089

Go to bed, normalfag.

If you really wanted to write, you'd be doing it instead of asking how to.

The only way to improve is to read and write a fuckload. Don't let Hollywood make your reading choices for you

>> No.3306092

Buy one of the books with a title like, "How to write a best selling novel in 15 days!"

Then get to work.

Look forward to seeing you on the bestseller list.

now you are a writer

Go to war, write a journal while at war, come back home, become an Oxford philologist, write a book solely to use your made up languages, then sell it to kids for big bucks. $$$

Assuming this isn't a troll, write a lot and read even more.

Nobody tell him that the first 500 thousand words he writes will be total crap

Who are you to objectively state something that is subjective by nature?

I am J.R.R. Tolkien.

You're one of the luckier ones.

I'm at around 400,000 and I still don't know what I'm doing.

How do you even know what your "style" is? That descriptor is so broad that it could be anything. Practically every style has been done before anyway.

>> No.3307303

>>3307289

Go write non-fiction you blind, uncreative fuck.

Style is so blatantly obvious if you read enough. Some authors use older words. Others pop culture references. The way they describe their characters. Alot of detail? No detail at all?

If you read enough you'll pick up on it and learn to identify your favourites and snag bits and pieces of their style to create your own. And if you're really really good, you think up elements of your own.
