i've figured out the best heuristic for interpreting ALL THE HISTORY, guys

1. Automatically assume all nations will lie their teeth off to at least some extent about their activities to make themselves look good to the international community

2. Operating under such an assumption, assume all empirically validated evidence of a country's wrongdoings to be true

3. Drink hard as you sink into despair as your realize that human history is a long, agonizing death spiral fueled by the ongoing technological advancement of blowing people the fuck up

4. stumble into an alleyway, drunkenly cursing the human animal and its nihilistic race to self-destruction

5. Choke on your own vomit in said alleyway

6. ???
