I don't get it.
It looks like you are just make screenshots of threads that amused you.
Granted, the archiver might not be around forever, but what is the point of what you are doing?

and that's actually all i have right now.

i hope you've gotten a bit of a laugh out of these. remember, you can do your part to make a better, brighter /lit/. we don't always have to be edgy pseudo-intellectuals; sometimes we can just discuss literature.

>how shitty /lit/ is becoming

The main difference between now and before is that /lit/ isn't inundated with tripfags.

The quality itself is rather consistent, though less in quantity because less tripfag spamming and discussion disappeared.

what's not pictured is the massive swamp of homework threads, book requests, /sci/ or /v/ trolls, and american psycho / the stranger / catcher in the rye threads, though i guess that last one's always been around.

eh, you're mostly right though. i guess i get depressed more about the fact that i'm even here, and want to blame it on something.

Yeah, if anything /lit/'s improving. Reddit's influence has actually led to some actual discussion, though it comes with the increase in pretentiousness, shit taste and terrible writing.

Similar situation with /tv/. Before reddit, it was all little girls and forced memes. Before that, it was just slow.

You say that like it's a bad thing. /lit/ was the best board on the site before the trip invasion.

The /mu/ fiasco was when allll the boards decided that /lit/ and /mu/ were somehow fuckbuddies, even though for the longest time we were in cahoots with /x/. For some reason very few people fought against it and we lost a lot of content [not quality content, but content] when /x/ was excised.

Also /mu/ is a hive of tripfaggotry so we inherited some of that, like a sexually transmitted rash.
