I just left /lit/ for a while to lurk on some of the other parts of 4chan(specifically /b/).
It was scary and,
I don't think I'm ever leaving you guys again...

Yeah, /lit/'s weirdly homey. Dysfunctional-homey, but homey nonetheless. The rest of the boards, at least for the most part, all like mental asylums (asyla?).

/lit/ Is pretty isolated from the rest of 4chan. I think the closest we have to a board "Alliance" would be /tg/. (Due to the large amount of writers on that board)
Think of /tg/ as our autistic little brother, mildly talented but interested in style rather than substance when it comes to literature.

I know a lot of my /co/mrades are also e/lit/ists since we appreciate good writing in print as a common ground.

/fit/ has a good community; the downside is that the quality always goes down around new year's and summer by lazy people trying (and ultimately failing) to get fit.

So why does /co/ suck?

*sob* I love you guys so much. Thanks for all the great books. I really loved them. Shit, now I'm actually crying, I need to see a hormone doctor.

/lit/ is like the douchebag pretentious older brother I never had, it's given me lots of suggestions and help finding new and interesting books but is completely insufferable a lot of the time. I wish I could leave but alas, I'll probably be here for awhile.

/new/ and /r9k/ invaded after they got nuked, then ponies came out of fucking nowhere and it's never been the same.
