What e-reader do you have?

How satisfied with it are you?

>> No.3103368

I recently purchased a Kindle and am only disappointed with its lack of page numbers. In order to finish books in a week, I would always divide the total number of pages by 7 and set a goal to read that amount of pages every day. Most (95%) of the books I have on my Kindle do not have page numbers at all, only percentages, which is an annoying thing in itself. Because of this I also have no way of knowing precisely how long any given book is without doing the math myself or looking it up on amazon to check. I'm aware that this is because of the way font size is changeable, but I wouldn't mind "inaccurate" page numbers. Are there any good e-readers that have fake page numbers?

Kindle 4. Perfect for what I need it to do, except that a high resolution may have been nice.

I have a 2nd generation Kindle. I'm very happy with it. Never thought I would like an e-reader, because I'm a purist and a pretentious asshole and all that, but here we are.

For traveling, or when you find a book you want to read RIGHT NOW and it's 1am, nothing beats a Kindle.

I read on my ipad 1st gen for a long time, then I got an ipad 3rd gen and just yesterday I dropped in on the floor and cracked the screen.

Fucking sucks. I had a Kindle back when it first came out that went the same way.

Can still use it though, but I'm probably going to buy an android tablet here pretty soon to replace it.

The Kobo has page numbers.

As for OP, I'm quite satisfied with my Kobo Touch. I haven't had any problems with it yet, and I'm saving a ton of money with free ebooks.

I'm happy with both but something I wish the kindle had is a backlight.

I read on my Nexus 7.

Kobo - first gen. I like it, and it still works good, I just don't use it a lot.

I've read maybe 40 books on it since I got it.
