Post your birthday, and your favorite, or just any book that you like. If your birthday comes up, you have to read that book.

Pic obviously related. All you niggas' born on July 23rd are going to be reading about Misters Hoover and Trout.

they're surprisingly good. For a long time I was never into reading until I tried reading them.

Dan Abnett and Aaron Dembski Bowden are pretty much the best, and they do some really great stories.
Then there's Grahm Mcneil and James Swallow who are just pretty good.
anybody else is a crapshoot.

but I find them to be pretty entertaining and have a lot of really good description of shit that's supposed to go on on a cosmic scale

I also jump around books. Like if I see a character come in for a chapter of one book, I go find the book that centers around them.

So glad we've met birthday brother. I just finished reading Zola's Dreyfus letters, haven't read his fiction though, so I'm gonna try the Japanese one. Thanks!

If you like/can stand very visual books with little plot and despicable characters, then you'll enjoy it.

Other authors with a similar feel are Proust (long winded prose), Dickens (characters), Kafka (claustrophobic feeling).
