So what's /lit/'s consensus on Audiobooks? Are they an acceptable form of literature?

I like sitting in a hot bath, or in my comfy-ass chair, just listening to Gibson narrate Neuromancer. Is that so wrong?

What's a good resource for audiobooks?

But Gibson's narration is so uncomfortable I don't know how you could listen to him in a bath; those sex scenes jesus christ. They're nice for non-fiction, I think, and I usually listen while I'm doing something else. Librivox is pretty standard, but they only have public domain stuff. You can generally pirate audiobooks if you really want to.

They're fine. Sometimes I like to read a book with the audiobook playing. It's really immersive.
