You're not clearly expressing the point that I think you're trying to make.
>Hamilton
Typical degenerate.

Our enlightenment ideals may have melted away but this is still the age of revolution

Uh! I'm a nice dude, with some nice dreams
See these ice cubes, see these Ice Creams?
Eligible bachelor, million dollar boat
That's whiter than what's spilling down your throat
The Phantom, exterior like fish eggs
The interior like suicide wrist red
I can exercise you, this can be your Phys. Ed
Cheat on your man ma, that's how you get ahizzead
Killer wit the beat, I know killers in the street
Wit the steel that'll make you feel like chinchilla in the heat
So don't try to run up on my ear talking all that raspy shit
Trying to ask me shit
When my niggaz fill ya vest they ain't gon pass me shit
You should think about it, take a second
Matter fact, you should take four B
And think before you fuck wit lil skateboard P

If it were left to That Republican -- detester of manufacturing, of Federal Government -- America would be nothing more than a vast array of family farms, barely ambling by on arguable self-sustenance, doing next-to-nothing to compete on the field of nations, and hardly enjoying any luxury or prosperity at all.

Do you know of a decent book on Hamilton?

Do you think he would disapprove of the corporate model?

Chernow's biography. It is such an excellent Life, that you will know everything about the man next to what you could discover from his actual writings. The one thing is that Chernow paints Jefferson and Adams in negative lights, which perceptions I am eager to overturn by reading about those two men. No-one is singularly reprehensible or completely good among our Founders, and I wish to learn the specifics: what makes each grand, despite their failings.

Whats a good one on Jefferson, after reading Chernows Hamilton and Washington I want to know more about Jefferson. (Preferably one volume)

>> No.3021719

RR Bernstein has a short yet recent one that covers his whole life and which is highly acclaimed.

Texts around the 500 page mark are full of faction, with many of the biographies insisting Jefferson was a fundamentalist Christian, and others just being lackluster.

Then there is Dumas Malone's hulking 7 volume or so series.

I'm planning to read the Bernstein bio and then just read Jefferson's collected writings supplied by the Library of Congress.

Thanks bro!

Yeah I put one volume up to exclude Masone's

Joseph Ellis has a book on both Jefferson and Adams. I read American Sphinx recently, and even though its focused on only a few years of his life, you get a decent amount. And of course there's David McCullough's Adams bio.

I'm slowly picking through them all after starting with Paine. Now I really want a good Madison

So by default, you express yourself through shit-tier political philosophy? Interesting
