Hey /lit/, don't mean to be a bother, but does anyone have any more of these charts? I'll dump a few.

I'm using them as guides obviously, but also I like having consistent looking editions for each author like the ones pictured, so that's helping me too.

He is just a very common reader that is propped up by the Palahniuk-BEE hipster-beatnik and oddly the neo-mallgoth crowd. Basically the "life sucks and I'm surrounded by sheep and I'm awesome" shut-in teens. The guy was also a shitty failure drunk most of his life and he beat his girlfriends all the time. But that has nothing to do with his writing, but just shows who is behind this.

I can understand doing these for a genre or literary period or national literature, but "how do i into joyce?" and the answer is -drumroooooooooooollll- read the 4 (yup - 1 - 2 - 3 -4) books he wrote in chronological order! Well fucking hell what a turn up, I'd never have guessed. You want to get into a writer then read their books. You don;t need the internet to hold your fucking hand you little bitches..

Hey /lit/, original creator of the flowcharts here. It's nice to see that these things are still floating around given that most posts made on 4chan simply disappear into the ether. The flowcharts aren't meant to be authoritative, just to curb the amount of "How do I get into ____" threads.

I am aware that the comments are horrible, my intent was that people better read than I am would make their own but the idea didn't really take off.

They're fucking stupid.

If you really want to get to know an author and have time, just read their works chronologically.

If you don't have time, just read their most esteemed books.

I mean, most of the charts are for fiction authors.
