Stendhals "The Black and the White" or Flauberts "Madame Bovary".
I need to read one and I'm not just asking which one is the shortest. Which of the two is a more interesting read, has better characters etc.
Cheers!

You should probably read that one, or at the very least, glance at the title again so you don't look like a moron when mentioning it.

The Black and the White. Tbh I haven't read Madame Bovary, but I did see the movie and it wasn't terrific.

Stendhal is by far the more interesting read. Although you got the title incorrect.

Madame Bovary has some serious Austen style pseudo-drama that is boring as hell (unless Austen is your thing).

Putting 'Wizard/Knight' and Martin/Jordan in the same tier is all kinds of wrong.
