Does anyone here post their writing online? Where would a good place to post things that I write? I haven't shown anyone anything short of directly sending something to one of my friends, at least not for the two years since I stopped using the angst-trap DeviantArt. I was thinking of a Pastebin, but that doesn't seem like a good place for short stories/sections of novels.

Do you mean in like a blog? It's a bad idea to showcase work before it's published because most publishers won't publish it if it's already been published online somewhere.

I wasn't even thinking of publishing. Just somewhere where I can write something and say "Hey, I wrote something, come read it here"

If you like.

If you only need it to be up temporarily, use pastebin or maybe Google docs. If you want like a website for your writing, I think Wordpress is good.

Limited character amounts, mostly.

Thank you, kind anon. Now that I'm thinking about it, I may use Pastebin for somethings, but I'll definitely look into Wordpress
