Are you referring to the locals v. Atticus? Because even outside the courtroom, Finch is a pretty cool and collected guy. He talked down a lynch mob and doesn't afraid of anything.

Hey OP, you probably don't appreciate it now because you're dissecting the shit out of it but in a few years, when you've finished high-school, read this book again. Because it's actually one of the best books written by a human.
