All but one of the reviews seem to be serious... That sort of surprises me.

This author has apparently written a lot of other things too.

The list of what items people bought after buying that item is hilarious.

>On post Gene Wars Earth, many anthropomorphic species share the ravaged world with humans. Amongst the species created to help rebuild their world were the foxtaurs - vulpine based centauroids bred to be the caretakers of the unspoiled lands remaining. They were an imperfect species though and evolved traditions and social practices to cope, many differing widely from human ones. Then one day a lonely and hurting man strays into foxtaur territory and crosses paths with an equally lonely foxtaur vixen. Their world would never be the same.

I am a denizen of the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, where I was born in 1957. I had an unexceptional childhood, but I brought from it an enduring love of animation and fantasy creatures. I have always been fascinated by anthropomorphic characters - animals and objects given human qualities - and would devour almost anything of that nature that I could find. For a long time, that was mostly paperback novels, which I read voraciously, or comic books. It was the latter that gave me my first contact with what would become my major hobby - the "furry" fandom.

At first my participation in the fandom was mostly based on art, and I let out a lot of my creative expression that way. However, I'm a mediocre artist at best, but it did lead me to create a new type of character, a species that needed some in-depth exposition, and rather than just settle for a dry treatise on them, I wrote a story to illustrate in words what they were like. Then I wrote another, then another... I haven't stopped writing since that first story, and so far I have compiled those into six paperback books, with another on the way. My first, "Life's Dream", won the Ursa Major Award for the Best Anthropomorphic Novel for 2007.

Yep, that's a dick and a vagina there, squire.

>>2969585
It's not a misspelling, it's a furry thing. "Shi" is a pretentious way for writers to refer to hermaphroditic characters. "Hir" is also used and both piss me off to no end.

Looks like you come down on the side of "they" for a gender-neutral pronoun.

You're having trouble understanding how English works there bruv. Phrases like "All women are referred to with the pronoun her" must be incomprehensible.

>> No.2969740

This pronoun gender debate is stupid, english already has a perfectly serviceable neuter pronoun, "it'. Its not my fault that most gender neutral objects are inanimate. If a hermaphrodite takes offence, tell them to shut up as they don't actually exist.

>> No.2969767

>>2969740
Look, it's offended by the pronoun gender debate.

>> No.2969776

>>2969740
"It" doesn't apply to anything with a "self". So it's not perfectly serviceable, you imbecile. Plenty if not most other languages have a neutral gender pronoun that is also applicable to things with "self". Therefore, hermaphrodites do exist (what the fuck kind of statement even is that?), and you're generalizing and somehow feeling entitled because of your own, inadequate language.

Eat it.
