I don't know. The entire novel builds up like a coming of age story and then you get to the end and what coming of age really amounts to is [spoilers] a group train gang-bang on a pre-pubescent girl in moldy sewers. [/spoilers]

Overall the book is enjoyable and worth reading but it's just more proof that King can't end a goddamn story.
