How can a Lacanian approach to the mind help in understanding oneself?

Language, the Other, drives... How could one go about this to acquire a new vision towards one's own problems?

not a particularly coherent question. the therapeutic aspect of psychoanalysis is rooted in a mix of talk therapy (which you can't simulate on your own) and conceptual frameworks. lacan provides a particularly interesting and sensitive account of the psychoanalytic framework.a

I actually already go through talk therapy, but I'll have to stay away from it for a while now and I'd like to know how could I introduce Lacanian concepts into the way I deal with everyday life, even if that means to leave them sitting at the back of my mind.

I can't ask the therapist for it now...

Sin problema, yo tuve la oportunidad de practicar mi español.

Barbas son siempre un buen consejo.
