Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Is it a good read, or is it written in a manner that simply states which general led which battle killing which faction, etc. ?

It's a good read. There's a reason it's called 'romance'. It's anything but plain.

70% of the stuff in there are made up by the author, the rest 30% is according to actual history.

While we explore the subject of pederasty, are there any "must read" books for people interested in the subject?
I drew lots for my next themes to explore and space exploration, pedophilia, and economics came up.

what does it being 2012 have to do with anything?

That picture reminds me of the scene in Men in Black where Will Smith shoots the cardboard cutout of the girl because she had quantum physics textbooks

That was a good movie

On topic: it's a pretty old book so it's kinda dry. A newer translation than the one I used (which had Wade-Giles instead of pinyin, ick) might help

First off, pornography. Try some Tsukumo Gou. I cannot recommend him enough. He's an artist, so don't worry: they're all drawings and wonderfully harmless.

He (very important!) draws anatomically correct bodies. He seems to have had a lot of sexual experience with males, because it shows in his works and the way expressions, bodily reactions and movement is depicted. Additionally, he is psychologically interesting. For example, there is one drawing in which there is an orgy. He puts numbers on the arms of each of the participants, therefore creating a setting (perhaps a cloning facility) that makes the eroticism much more sordid, sexual and perverse.

For literature, you could try 'Pale Fire' by Vladimir Nabokov and, of course, 'Death in Venice'. Jean Genet is a good author, and his works are very masturbatory depictions of criminality, sexuality, masculinity and pulsating semen. I've only read 'The Thief's Journal', but one of his other works deals with his experience as an adolescent prisoner in French Guiana - and his desires for his fellow adolescent inmates.

Does anyone know what publisher put out that set of books in OP's pic? Looks like Demorgen on the back of Madame Bovary but I can't seem to find the set.

Romance of the three Kingdoms
is a good fucking book.
It is my favorite piece of literature ever.

Back then, It was said smart shouldn't read it because it is filled with many devious historical strategies.
So many great characters. So many twists and shit.
And you learn something in the very enjoyable process.
Fucking read it.

And no. 70% is historical evidence. The other 30 is the made up dialogue and the exaggerated duels between generals.

The 30% is to fill in the gaps not written in history.

Could you faggots stop talking about the pic that's older than the internet and talk about Romance of the Three Kingdoms instead?

I've read it recently and for a 2000+ pages Chinese historical novel it was surprisingly readable, especially the first two thirds. After the death of almost all main characters around beginning of last third I've been gradually losing interest in the whole thing and in the end I have to force myself to even finish it. Still, I don't regret reading it.
