Yeah, it's a parasite, so what?
It's born of a parasite, that's what these things do.
They attach themselves to better works, like Twilight referencing Jane Austen and Brontes.
Their readers want to feel classy and adventurous.

Those composers are so lucky they're dead and don't have to know what their music is being used for.

Whoa chief, going a little too far there. In a few years time nobody will remember these books, like many other best-sellers.

>> No.2880222

Lol they used the Goldberg Variations theme for soundtrack. It's like using copywriter's blurb as an epigraph.

>> No.2880224

and this isn't even part of a film?

every industry is milking this. which they are ntitled to do. but anyone who buys this compilation when you can find all this music online, is an idiot.

Contents aren't even important. If you're buying music because it's featured in a movie adaptation of a book... and the book is 50 Shades of Grey, you're -- ooooh boy, I don't want to end my sentence.

>How does it feel knowing that now in today's world, fan fiction is a relevant form of literature that can become the best selling book of all time?
It's nothing new. Academic literary criticism in general is a form of fan fiction. It's always been there, and it always was mostly irrelevant.

Some erotica that started out as Twilight fan fiction and has now sold more copies than Harry Potter 7.
People are mad because the prose is shit tier (and misrepresents BDSM etc.)

>> No.2880244

>>2880231
It's Twilight fanfiction about Bella wanting to sign a BDSM contract with Edward. She enjoys being dominated, but refrains from signing the contract, and they eventually split.

Then it was rewritten with original characters do not steal and now it's a national bestseller that's being adapted as a movie trilogy.

Only that.

Twilight fan fiction bondage porn that got turned into a book, and became the fastest selling book of all time.

>> No.2880259

>>2880209
Well, really it's not fanfiction specifically that is the best selling paperback of all time, it's erotica. This isn't saying anything about literature, only porn. So what if people are getting their porn in a different form, I mean, no one respects this as literature (except of course the people who couldn't matter less) just like you wouldn't praise a porno for its cinematography.

At least it's mostly baroque and neoclassical; if they dipped more into romantics I'd be a little more mad. My Polish blood is boiling a little at the Chopin when they should've used that Hungarian faggot Liszt instead.

You're forgetting something all of you.
1.Stephanie Meyer had a sex fantasy, and wrote an erotica to indulge it.
2.E.L. James was inspired to have a sex fantasy and wrote an erotica to indulge it.
3. Bad things traditionally happen in three's.
Out there somewhere is a fat woman with a pen in one hand and a dildo in the other.
You have my permission to weep.

Quality peaces. No doubt about that, but when put in the same compilation its a complete mishmash. Its the same as making a collection of Queen, Sex Pistols, Craftwerk and some skandinavian deth metal.

On top of that, I'm very sure all of the tracks are from one of those 100 best classical cds.

Some titles in English, some in original.
Some misslabeled.
Some old recordings means that the quality must be all over the place.

In all a highly pretentious compilation that could be put together by some random torrent uploader.
