Thoughts on Looking for Alaska?

>> No.2865486

I loved it when I was 16, not meant as an attack

>> No.2865519

Good book but it is more of a book for teens, I read it when I was in 7th grade

>> No.2865570

Author is fine, books are good, fans.....
The fans are starting to get annoying.
Not full annoying yet. Not so irritating that they piss you off, like Twilight or other YA writers I could list.
But slightly obsessive.

Good for characters, but saw the plot coming a mile off. I still liked it better than TFIOS.

I liked paper towns the most

>> No.2865587

That you either should be banned for being underaged, or start reading things above a 5th grade level.

Seriously.

>listening to the Backstreet Boys is fun!
>watching MLP is fun!
>reading YA is fun!

>> No.2865621

of all modern YA books why does this always come up on /lit/?
are you guys part of their youtube club?

>> No.2865624

I did not like that book very much.
Main character was annoying. Dialogue was unnatural
Alaska felt like the whole "maniac pixie dream girl"

I didn't care when she died
And jeepers was it predictable!

young adult crappy crap

I agree Paper Towns was really good.
