How come most of the posts on here use thoughts and ideas to tear other people down rather than to advance thoughts and ideas themselves?

Not necessarily, for 1, gun owner ship requires months of waiting period. 2, you must be licensed, 3, must be able to aim/shoot/hold correctly and 4 you need the money. Guitar is bit easier. 1. you need money 2. you must be able to play/practice the guitar correctly. Infact guitar is easier to play. Being a gun owner means you will oneday carry the guilt of killing someone and this will haunt you forever

Well that's how I read it anyway. I'm sure there are those who have a grudge against the pomo thinkers and get a malicious pleasure out of this. I thought of it like this is spinal tap or some other parody where the author betrays a knowledge of the satirized subject that's so detailed it indicates familiarity and interest/ love can be inferred.
