Just finished it. I didn't like it at all, got really bored towards the end.

What are your thoughts about this book?

Hm I read this book a while ago and I know what you mean OP.
The book started out rather melancholic / depressing (at least for me), but later it became rather boring. There were some interesting parts to it, but overall I can't say I really enjoyed it.

Sartre's a cunt, so far up his own ass it was unbelievable. Read Camus if you want something good in that vein.

Yeah same here. The subject matter was pretty drole and his pet philosophies were outright silly.

Only interesting part was 30 pages in at the mirror scene
