Anyone have any really good fiction novels to recommend? Maybe some less mainstream things? I just read Everything Matters! by Ron Currie Jr. and I really enjoyed it, but Im reading Slaughterhouse Five right now and it might be one of the greatest books I've ever read.

I can't stress enough you don't stop with slaughterhouse 5, I liked it, but frankly, I think some of the others are even better.
Breakfast of Champions,
TimeQuake,
Bluebeard,
Cat's Cradle
Mother Night,
Slapstick

I know Slaughter-House comes up on a lot of recommended books list, but I think it's because it's better known. Kind of like how The Idiot comes up when people recommended Dostoyevsky and Demons doesn't get mentioned,

That's a great list, but I believe you forgot Sirens of Titan, which is probably my favorite of his.

Haven't gotten to that one yet, or God Bless you Dr. Rosewater, but glad to hear that it's going to be good.
