What publisher is it that makes these covers? I've seen a few of them, 1984 has an eye and down an out has a cigarette. This one is quite obvious, but the others only make sense when viewed from afar.

I found it. Its a run of books that penguin made, but I can't find the name of the collection.

This one makes sense in the thumbnail, but when you have the book in front of you you cant see what it is without having the book at a distance.

meh, I tend to think minimalism is pretty much impossible to mess up. If you keep things simple you at least guarantee a sense of balance and impact. that's more than can be said for a lot of book art.
