I almost stop reading "The gambler" in the middle because I was so fucking boring, but I give it one more chance, and at the end, I almost spend all my money in the roulette. I felt so intense that ending.

I did it with dracula recently. I got so into the whole dracula thing I watched all the films before finishing the book then found the whole thing utterly tiresome. I got 3/4 of the way through anyway.
