>tfw you have a massive to-read list
>tfw you loved a book but still haven't read more by the author

>Fahrenheit 451 is 2nd favourite book, read nothing else by Bradbury
>V was the best book I've read this year, only read TCOL49 apart from that
>Basically every sci-fi or fantasy book sounds interesting

I know both of those feels, though I'm going to be working on the second soon. Log of the S.S. The Mrs Unguentine and On the Marble Cliffs are two of my favorite books, but I've read nothing else by Stanley Crawford or Ernst Junger yet.

And my to read list is nearing 4,000 books.

>tfw you spent most of your life reading generic fantasy
>tfw you discover all these amazing classics, read a few and love them to death
>tfw you want to read them all
Also:
>tfw you're getting into philosophy and you're interested in almost every philosopher you know anything about.
>tfw a list of hundreds of thinkers that wrote thousands of pages of stuff

Looks like I'm in for the long haul. I figure I might as well minor in philosophy since I have a huge interest in it and I'm taking classes on top of my personal readings in it.

And to think most of the people I know fill in all of their free time with sitcoms and getting drunk

I'll never understand watching tv anymore, I just can't do it for more than an hour. My friend was telling me yesterday how he watched both seasons of Game of Thrones in a week and how they're so fucking amazing. I suggested he reads the books (forgive me /lit/, I know how you hate GRRM) and he said that that was pointless. What?

getting drunk is fun

The show is much better than the books

Nope.

>tfw you have no reading list
>tfw you're only 300 pages into a 1000 page epic

it's 1Q84 btw. Shit is only just getting good around the end of book one

Its all downhill from there I'm afraid. Each chapter is more drawn out and uneventful than the last.

Fuck... Noooo!!!!
But the moons and little people and sakigake.
It must have meaning, it must!

I doubt the 3rd has any point given how it was described as "unexpected".
