Just read it, and yes, I have read allot of scifi but none of the 'classics' which I am revisiting.

I love the concepts of this and ender's games' relative time dilations. are their any other titles that explore this?

Dan Simmons' Hyperion deals with it somewhat, and it's actually a good book too.

Hyperion is the greatest philosophical sci-fi book ever written. I'd recommend reading The Fall of Hyperion immediately afterwards.

I stil need to pick up Endymion.

Great book. I thought the start was okay but it picked up when he went home and explored how it had changed and onwards
