Just about to start a thread about it until I saw this. I summarily fell for the writing style. It's just so unique. My brother bought it for my 18th birthday and I think this book helped me grow up.

One of the few books I read through in nearly one sitting.

It was really captivating. It helped that it had two or three stories running in parallel, plus the hints of stories around the stories. Lots of fun, I'd recommend it to pretty much anybody.
