I would say they have a tremendous capacity for self deceit. They get into looking for a cure, like Kierkegaard or something. They find a thing they can agree with and refuse to accept its a cop out. Its normal healthy human behavior, it doesn't make them right.

All pre existentialist philosophy is garbage, its fun to read and fun to believe in things, but you have to grow up sometime.
