i haven't read any science fiction for about eight years now, and i was considering getting the first tome of asimov's foundation. how good is it ?

that's because i have absolutely no idea which books are classics. i saw this one in my bookshop and remembered asimov also came up with the law of robotics, so i was intrigued.
