>4chan is addicting because it's one of the few communities where everyone is honest. If someone hates something, they'll shit all over it. If you act foolish or say something stupid, you get hammered for it. No matter how well-received a subject is, there are always detractors. It's a lot of negativity, but it's refreshing compared to other communities where everyone is so fake all the time.

What non-philosophical work of literature do you think is most honest about human existence?
