Alternate universe, American Indian, Vietnam vet goes AWOL and starts his journey back to his home on Catalina Island to reunite with his wife and son. On the way there he is sidetracked dozens of times in a series of bizarre adventures incorporating folk lore and myth of Vietnam, Indonesia, Bali, Australia, all other Pacific islands, monstrous whales, and labyrinthine libraries.
On Easter Island our hero encounters a sort of Lord of the Files situation...

Once home, our hero has to contend with all sorts of rivals. Other natives, mortal and demigod, Cowboys, surfer dudes, soldiers, business moguls, and Hollywood idols.

Is this prompt too long?
I was actually thinking this story should be put together by multiple authors as a sort of national project (HA) Tart and Zachery Mason stand out in my head for one reason or another....

Nah, different guy, thought I would try doing the same thing.

Anyway, i'm not spell-checking/editing, so apologies for any egregious errors. Also, doing these in chronological order as they're posted.

This was a bit tougher, it took me a while to come up with some form of narrative for this. I tried out some circular sentences for this, don't know how well it turned out, but it was an interesting write.

Unfortunately, i'm rather tired (It's rather late in my time one). Thank you all for the prompts, and I apologize for the few number of pieces I actually put up (If anyone actually enjoyed my writing). If I can find this thread in the morning i'll continue, so keep bumping.
