'Like my new facebook cover photo? You should, /lit/, you should.

Yeah, I'm sure everyone will think you're very brainy, OP. Congrats.

Joke's on you: I have no friends.

I made it in photoshop with the goal of making it appear as if it may have actually came from a book.

Isn't that from In Search of Lost Time?

>> No.2637207

Ah, yes indeed. What I meant was that I didn't take a photograph of the book; the image is purely digital—an exercise in typography.

(Naturally, I used my favourite book's text.)

>> No.2637230

Also, the fact that it's Proust is the reason why I said /lit/ should like it, since he is god-tier. There's nothing particularly great about having this (or anything literature related) as a cover otherwise, I'm well aware.

I shared it mostly because no one else would ever care (not that anyone here necessarily does) and I'm terribly lonesome.

Get with the times, anon; I've clearly stated my effective autism and craving for a moderate amount of attention.

I made my Facebook profile pic in Paint. It says "this is a picture of me." A lot of my friends liked it and commented. Sorry you suck so bad, OP.

I don't get the, "OP has no friends/is terrible/etc.," approach, since I am well aware of—and quite open about—the fact.

I think in one of Lovecraft's stories, the cat was named Niggerman, so that might actually be a compliment.

I'm not a fan of his writing.
There's no greater disservice to an aspiring dilettante than to associate him with an author of dubious prestige.

...Wait. Why does no one like me again?

An opinion established sufficiently in your first post.
I asked with the hopes that you'd clarify WHY you felt that way (either in the form of concrete and usable criticism [past], or suggestions [future]).
