So I recently found out about Tow Sawyer movie (2011) and torrented it. But I can't seem to find the English subtitle (it's a Dutch movie)
So my question is: Is it anything like the book, if it is then I probably wouldn't have a problem watching the movie without subtitles. And will I be disappointed after watching?

1. its a german movie
2. tom sawyer is a classic, on of the best books ever written - german movies have a much lower budget compared to hollywood, so I wouldnt expect too much of it.

There are a few very "famous" german actors like benno fürmann, joachim krol or peter lohmeyer.

Its a movie for kids - give it a try.
