Why the inb4 kindle? Because you're scanning the books? There are ways to post-process your pdfs (even when you did not apply OCR) to go with it, so you should reconsider. I still print (some articles)/ buy (some books) academic reading tho, because I need an overview of how the text is structured + making notes is admittedly more convenient.

That's a perfect scan (it's not yours i guess), and I still can't believe you're really reading it off your screen. Your eyes, do they bleed much?

And what about a separate list for your notes? If you insist on reading on your laptop, why not just alt-tab to your text editor? You sound like a tool asking for such advice... Its probably the inb4 i can't get my head around (unless it's the moneys, but still).
