I finished writing a book. Now what?

People are probably going to hate it, unless you are a literary genius.

Proofread/edit it yourself first, then give it to a friend to proofread/edit, then give it to another friend to edit or pay an editor to edit your book.

Then let it sit there for a few months then go back and change what you don't like.

rinse and repeat until you end up with the exact same pile of shit you started with
