This may not be the place to be asking this, but I figure I'll try. This is my absolutely favorite graphic novel. This book was brilliant. I know it's a bit kiddish, and I usually read more mature subject matter, but I was wandering if there was anything like it?

Don't buy the complete volume shown in the OP. I made that mistake and still regret it, having to look at Smiths fantastic artwork on such poor quality paper

Is this thing really that great? What makes it so?

I remember reading a few volumes, as a kid. It was ok for a kid. I don't remember anything special about it that would motivate me to finish it now.
