So I'm going to London and intend to buy a Kindle while there. I'm not sure however where can i buy it from. Is it exclusive to the UK version of Amazon and if not where might I get one? (pic unrelated, I just like it)

Well, first off OP, why does it matter? You would be a fool to buy ebooks. The majority of them are the same price, if not more so, than the physical version. Then there is the fact you can get them all for free at the touch of a button, so buying them basically equates to you throwing your money down a hole.

I intend on downlaoding books for my Kindle. I'm going to but it because it's easier to bring places than a computer and because the screen is made so it wouldn't shine under the sun. It's like asking my, "Why buy a mobile phone when you have one at home that you can't take anywhere?"
