I'm finishing up Bushido: The Soul of Japan

Pretty interesting insight written during the dying moments of the remnant surviving factors from feudal Japan and the essence of Bushido up until (and thereafter) that point of time.

Granted it was written over 100 years ago.

I was going to follow it up with L'Assommoir by Zola but just realised I downloaded the French version.
