Dear /lit/
I remember a post, not too long ago, from a guy that worked on digitalizing a catalogue for a library or something like that. He was posting really cool old illustrations. I didn't save the complete set, but I'll post what I have. Anyways, feel free to share more old illustrations and engravings.

Also...did anyone see Roman Polanski's The Ninth Gate? Thought it was pretty entertaining. Interesting concepts throughout.

Dore is the master. I love what he did for Tennysons Idylls of the King.

Although I love what he did I'm rather interested in all of those unknown artists. There's something inherently mysterious about them. I feel like there's stuff hidden in the artwork.
