sup /lit/. Pic related, its Henry Miller. I am currently writing an essay on various philosophical subjects..in a strange turn of events, I used a moderately well-known Henry Miller quote: "the aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware: joyously, drunkenly, serenely aware." Well, it seems that this quote may not actually exist in any of his works, at least not in the "Tropic" novels, "Capricorn" being the novel it is supposed to be from.

TL/DR, does anyone know where this goddamned line is so I can cite it?

hes one interesting dude, at one point he goes into his bathroom and tells the interviewer about all his pictures and bathroom art, he has some cool stories

and then a naked japanese chick steps out of his shower, she looks like shes in her 20s or 30s, and miller is like 70+ lol...
