Alright sorry i know this isnt /b/ etc.. but i really need a little bit of help.

Could anyone point out some info on women and their roles in dracula?

I didnt really pay to much attention and i have a 3 page essay due mid-day tomorrow.

Anything will help and if you could provide links or something. I tried googling but i just found annoying things that turned off topic.

<---- Pic unrelated

Dracula is basically allegory for rape.

There you are.

The key is that Dracula isn't a bad guy, all the women are the ones guilty of seducing him. It's actually sort of a weird rape justification-esque thing. All of the women represent one of the deadly sins. The three vampire concubines represent wrath, gluttony, and greed, while Lucy is obviously lust, and Mina is pride.

And I'm calling bullshit on you. Dracula is a pretty straight allegory of innocent women being corrupted by a charming but dangerous stranger. There's no 'rape justification' at all. At no point is Dracula portrayed as being in the right.

Dracula is a tragedy about how foreveralone neckbeards become overly dependent on female attention (blood), and how people generally deal with a neckbeard that violates social contracts (burn down their houses)

Thanks for the help. Ill work with this. And I Leave You All A Shitty Essay I Wrote For A Friend!

<----- Pic is original i just retyped it

When I was in 19th grade, I had gotten my first ever Q on my report card. I had actually tried to hide it, and just hoped they wouldn’t figure it out. Unfortunately, they did remember and I was forced to show them my penis. I recall there was a lot of yelling in my house that day. My parents took away my T.V., my testicles, and my privilege to go outside for the entire decade. I spent most of that winter alone in my basement getting on the computer and fapping without them knowing. It wasn’t that bad, but I had to press the power button and run to the couch and pretend I wasn’t jizzing every time I heard somebody walking down the steps. I got away with it for a good month or so, but they eventually found out. As I remember my face was bleeding a lot that day.
