It's because people assumed that you were raiding with it, because most people who talk about Mein Kampf are trying to troll. If you were serious: Mein Kampf isn't very well written and there's much better sources if you want to learn about fascist ideology, for instance the Italian fascists who are much more coherent than Hitler was... Or read a good biography of Hitler if it's the man you're curious about.

Agree with the fact that MK isn't the best fascist ideology book and was poorly written, but we're talking about a book written by a jailled-guy who later became one of the most influential person in modern history. You do not read MK for the style but rather for an expedition down hitler's psyche. MK is the slope to accomplish that.
