It's basically a book for broadening your horizons and accessing a Traditional worldview.
Ride the Tiger is the more crucial book today, but 98% of the people who read it get filtered anyway so it's usually wasted.
For the casual reader not concerned with elaborating a cohesive worldview, titles on specific topics like Metaphysics of War and Myth of the Grail will be much more engaging.

In the first 20 pages or so I really appreciated the imagery of the monarch holding a scepter, a pole, meant to remain firm and be a source of constancy as the world and society rotates around it.
Does he continually jerk off and esteem India like Guenon? Hierarchy good, naturally occurring, but that place has turned into an absolute shithole, and their metaphysics / cosmology is based upon an infinite regression.
