Hi /lit/.

I'm new here. I've always liked books, novels specially.
BUT! For the past 7 years I haven't been able to read anything except Virtual Light (a cyberpunk novel).

Do you have any tips or advice to help me overcome my lack of interest in reading? I feel that sitting around in the computer makes me dumber and dumber and I'd like to increase my knowledge.

Thanks

There's no point forcing yourself to do it if you don't enjoy it, but if you're going to force yourself anyway, start with something in the same ilk as the book you mentioned.

I don't understand how you can lack interest in reading. I lack interest in reading certain books or about certain subjects, but I can't imagine why you would stop reading altogether. Are you interested in anything? If you are, there's probably at least one book about it.
