For class tomorrow I have to read 190 pages of a book. I started reading a while ago and got to page 45, and I had to take a break. I did find the book enjoyable, but found that I was reading for too long and just needed a bit of a break from it. Is that bad, that I can only get to page 45? The pages are dense.

"a while ago" is far too vague a time frame for me to accurately judge how mentally retarded you are OP, so I am going to go against my oath and make a wild guess at your levels of mental retardation and say 'high'.

45 pages is a reasonable amount for one sitting assuming you read for like an hour

less than a page per minute isn't really reasonable, it's slow.

If you're reading for class that's fine, no point in speeding through a book if you have to back to observe and analyse

better get to work op
