http://noah-cicero.blogspot.com/
He has some links to online ebooks.

http://issue2.popserial.net/noah-cicero/

Pretty sure you'll find more online by just typing 'noah cicero' short stories or something.

Just buy The Human War and Best Behaviour, they're still in print and like £3

I feel if I keep the trips the world will implode and it will be my fault and then I would have to live with that as I float out in space with all the space flotsam and jetsam and I just don't think I could do that. So I dropped the trip.

Who is he? what kind of stuff does he write?

>> No.2387567

His old stuff use to be: "working class guy who likes to write and is very liberal does little with his life other than working, drinking and sex"

His later books became "working class guy who got popular writing hangs out with writers and drinks and has sex."

>> No.2387574

google his name bro, he's in lots of online literary journals

read nosferatu first though. it's on bearparade.com

He is kind of in the same writing circle as Tao Lin but everyone seems to agree that he is a much better writer. (That is my consensus from /lit/ at least.)

noah cicero precedes tao lin by quite a few years

I think it's the consensus from most alt-lit sites as well. Except the ones who need traffic and promote Tao Lin more than he needs to be.

The sad thing is Noah got his first release published in 2003. Tao Didn't appear until around 2005 and didn't really get popular till 2007.

And the association with Tao has kind of ruined Cicero's cred as well. I like Tao, but people who hate him don't give Noah a chance because "lol he's just like TAo" even though he is completely different and much better as a writer.

I think from Tao's 'circle' Noah is the only one going to be around when Tao drops into obscurity again after Tapei, Taiwan fails to break even.

Sam Pink probably will too, but that's because he's basically best friends with Noah.

why is ohio so popular in the alt lit scene? it's like most of the more famous authors all grew up together

The Midwest has always been popular in most 'indie-scenes'.

Just look at the emotive indie music scene of the mid-90s. I think it's because they aren't ashamed to highlight the disapointment of American life, the same disapointment New York and LA try to pretend doesn't exist.

People will clearly do anything, up to and including strapping themselves to experimental rockets and being blasted into the frozen void, in order to get out of Ohio.

I've never been there, but it seems that people are keen to get away.
