Favorite Hemingway novel that isn't The Old Man and the Sea?

Already done with that and the short stories so want to try one of his longer works.

I really like Sun Also Rises, I'd recommend it. It's super dope. Traces the goings-on of a group of American and British expatriates in Paris who go on a trip to fish and watch bull fights in Spain.

A Farewell to Arms is his best even if we include Old Man and the Sea. So yeah.

I'm only halfway through this now and it's my first Hemingway novel, enjoying the shit out of it though. Can't remember being more glued to a book as when the Fascists are slaughtered while they exit the church one by one.

No valid opinion to present, sorry OP.

It is amazing. I like the whole grandfather-father dilemma.

The Old Man and the Sea is easily his worst. Nowhere to go but up from there.

Read A Farewell to Arms, For Whom the Bell Tolls, and The Sun Also Rises first.

Easily his worst? Someone hasn't read Across the River and Into the Trees.
