That read hit me right in the heart. Kerouac has become my favorite writer since i read four of his books.

I want to read prose like his but from contemporary writers, do you have any name ?

No, go back in time and read Waugh instead. Ordeal of Gilbert Pinfold is his proto Kerouac, just don't start with it, it's deep and symbolic under the facade.

This should be widely known as his magnum opus instead of On the Road. It’s a very soulful book and I think it gives a much better idea of what Kerouac is about, whereas lots of people seem to misinterpret or draw the wrong impression from OTR. It kinda reminds me of Ken Kesey, who is famous for One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, which isn’t bad, but Sometimes A Great Notion is a masterpiece. Anyway, The Dharma Bums is a quick read
