After seeing all these threads about ‘booktubers’ who pander to an audience that /lit/ despises, I feel that there should at least be a way to navigate through YouTube to find /lit/ related channels that are actually decent at the very least and put in more effort than the youtubers ragebait threads put as their OP.

They suck dick. Just read. Don't do reading adjacent activities instead of reading. That's for fags. The fact that you've watched so much of this slop to have such a large curated list means you've wasted hundreds of hours. That's a lot of books...

I sometimes listen to audio books on YT while I exercise. Try that?

You've basically got all the good ones in English. One of the single-handedly most insightful in any language is probably ADEH TV. They're two very well-read reactionary Catholics, so they give based takes and no pozzed faggotry.

Fun fact: The absolute best channels are those that only garner around 100-500 views on average. They tend to be Professors uploading their lectures for their students to watch outside of school.

I made a literature-related youtube video recently, it took me a long time to write, record, edit etc. I told myself that if I received even a single positive comment it would be enough, and I achieved that at least. But overall I have little enthusiasm to continue. It feels like getting sucked into creating unoriginal slop for the sake of gaining attention or even money.

I like men as well as reading adjacent activities so I suppose you’re right.

My favorite is leafy concern. I like his content and I find his voice soothing.

Sharing your experiences and thoughts with others is a basic human function, it's why we are on /lit/ as well.

YouTube might be slop, but it's not like /lit/ is diamond refined discussions.

I made a tiktok comparing different translations of Dantes Inferno. It did really well so I made one comparing different translations of The Odyssey. The algorithm ate it up and blacklisted it.
